Place in Privacy Policy Google Adsense in Your Blog

I’m pretty sure you are reading this AdSense Tutorial because you have plans to place Google AdSense Ads within your site or you are already slapping AdSense Codes in your web pages. So whatever may be your status right now there is a certain requirement that you have to place in your site. You may either create a post or create a page about it; the important thing is, it must be visible to your readers at all times. This requirement comes from the Terms of Services of Google AdSense; the Google AdSense team has made a post, Updated Terms and Conditions, in their blog.
A privacy policy is a written document that discloses how customers’ or visitors’ information will be used. This information includes but are not limited to the following; IP address, email address, physical address, name, and other relevant information that could be acquired during the person’s visit to our website solicited or not. Now, there is no standard format of a privacy policy, it varies from one country to the another depending on the regulations or laws that were established (if there are any) regarding this matter. And if no regulations are in place then you could create your own privacy policy, use samples provided in the Web or use the services of online form wizards.
So in this AdSense Tutorial don’t be alarmed if you have no idea on how to create your own privacy policy. You could search the web and read privacy policies of other websites. You could use them as your basis to create your own, just make sure you will provide the information required by Google as quoted below. Well if you still can’t one that will suite your needs because you are too lazy to do it, again you don’t have to worry about anything. Google has provided a good example quoted at the end of this article and you could just copy it (please include the links) use is it as well. The important thing is for you to set aside a page where your visitors could see them. If you are using blogger.com, create a post about it then place a link in your sidebar going to that page.
Please take this seriously, it is a condition which you agreed to follow and abide when you signed up with Google AdSense. I’m pretty sure Google is very strict if you are not following its Terms and Conditions. Like I said no need to panic if you don’t know how to create one or just too lazy to find one, this AdSense Tutorial will provide you the privacy policy (courtesy of Google of course) that you will paste in your site, or you could use the privacy policy of this site, follow the link below and copy it including the links. Just make sure it complies if there are any existing laws in your country about the use of one’s personal date or information.
What should I put in my privacy policy?
Your privacy policy should include the following information:
• Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits  to your website.
• Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the advertising opt-out page. (Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.)
If you have not opted out of third-party ad serving, the cookies of other third-party vendors or ad networks may also be used to serve ads on your site, and should be disclosed in your privacy policy as well in the following manner.
• Notify your site visitors of the third-party vendors and ad networks serving ads on your site.
• Provide links to the appropriate vendor and ad network websites.
• Inform your users that they may visit those websites to opt out of cookies (if the vendor or ad network offers this capability). Users can opt out of some, but not all, of these cookies in one location at the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out website at www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

You may copy this information provided by Google and use it in your site or you can use the site’s very own privacy policy, just follow the link below at the right side. Again it is your own responsibility if this complies to any existing laws in your country, if not then you could create your own.
